A man, though of little means, has a wealth of knowledge but the rich and those in power don't want to hear what he has to say since his advice is more beneficial to the poor than the wealthy. He finally manages to catch a break and is given the chance to teach economics, but his boses turn against him when they discover his unorthodox style of teaching and his desire to completely revolutionized the whole curriculum. Plotting to get rid of him, they soon realize he won't give up without a fight.
